This study is the first to analyse the relationship between calendars and literature in the early modern period. Inspired by material culture studies, it analyses traces of the calendrical diary and calendrical practices in early modern texts of various genres, thus demonstrating the heuristic potential of the calendar.Diese Studie untersucht erstmals das Verhà¤ltnis von Kalender und Literatur in der Frà¼hen Neuzeit. Mithilfe eines materialwissenschaftlich inspirierten Zugangs werden Spuren des Schreibkalenders und kalendarischer Praktiken frà¼hneuzeitlichen Texten verschiedener Gattungen analysiert und so das heuristische Potenzial des Kalenders aufgezeigt.
